Soft, golden, and whisper-light, Cornsilk is the silky thread that lines the inside of the corn husk — long treasured by Indigenous and Caribbean healers as a soothing diuretic and urinary tonic.
Though delicate in appearance, this herb is remarkably powerful in helping the body flush toxins, cool inflammation, and restore ease to the kidneys and bladder.
Cornsilk supports gentle detoxification, balances water retention, and promotes urinary comfort without depleting the system.
Its sweet, grassy aroma and silky texture make it a graceful ally for the urinary tract, prostate, and overall fluid balance, especially when heat or irritation are present.
As a cooling diuretic and urinary tonic:
Directions (Internal Use):
Steep 1–2 tablespoons of dried Cornsilk in 8–10 oz of hot water for 15–20 minutes.
Drink 2–3 cups daily as a gentle urinary tonic.
Pairs beautifully with Uva Ursi, Dandelion Leaf, Nettle Leaf, or Parsley Root for enhanced cleansing.
Affirmation:
“I flow freely and gracefully — my body releases with ease, my spirit rests in balance.”
Our Cornsilk is carefully hand-harvested from fresh organic corn, collected just before the ears fully mature.
Each silky strand is air-dried in low light to preserve its natural golden hue and subtle sweetness — a sign of its vitality and gentle potency.
Cornsilk embodies the grace of simplicity — the medicine that hides in plain sight.
It teaches the body how to flow, to cleanse without strain, to heal without force.
A cup of Cornsilk tea feels like exhaling — cool, calm, and golden as sunlight through the fields.
