At Island Roots Botanicals, we take great care to ship your herbs, blends, and wellness goods safely, securely, and on time. Below is everything you need to know about shipping, delivery, local pickup, and returns.
FAQ
1. Processing Times
We aim to ship all orders within 1–3 business days.
During holidays, restocks, or high-volume sales, processing may take slightly longer.
Custom blends, limited batches, and consultation-related orders may require additional time.
2. Shipping Methods
We ship anywhere in the U.S. using:
USPS
(First Class, Priority Mail)
UPS
(Ground or 2-Day — depending on selection)
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on carrier pricing.
3. Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear.
4. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages
After your package is transferred to USPS/UPS, we cannot control delivery speed or carrier delays.
If your package is lost, delayed, or marked delivered but missing, please contact the carrier first using your tracking number.
We will assist where possible, but we are not responsible for carrier errors or stolen packages.
5. Incorrect Address Policy
Customers are responsible for entering a correct shipping address at checkout.
If an incorrect address is provided and the package is returned to us:
We can reship it for an additional shipping fee. Refunds for shipping costs are not provided.
6. Local Pickup
Select Local Pickup at checkout to pick up orders in-store.
Pickup hours follow our store hours listed on the Contact page.
Orders must be picked up within 7 days unless otherwise arranged.
7. Return Policy
Due to the nature of herbal products, we cannot accept returns on:
Opened or used products
Teas, capsules, or ingestible goods
Custom blends
Clearance items
Gift cards
Digital downloads (if applicable)
8. Eligible Returns (Unopened Items Only)
Unopened, unused products may be returned within 7 days of delivery.
Conditions:
Item must be in its original packaging
Customer pays return shipping
Refunds exclude original shipping cost
9. Exchanges
If you received the wrong item or something was damaged in transit, we will replace it at no cost once proof (photo or video) is submitted within 72 hours of delivery.
10. Refunds
Refunds are processed once the returned item is received and inspected.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
