Why do we grind our Goldenseal Root?

Nothing is better than getting in Goldenseal Root and taking the time to perfectly grind it to the finest powder we can. These pictures I took are actually stage 2 and 3 of a 5 stage grinding process.

The best application of Goldenseal Root is topically for a number of conditions, having a fine powder makes using Goldenseal Root for open wounds, gargling and brushing, making eye rinse, making a poultice and mixing on the go when you feel a cold coming on, so much easier. Being that the Root is pretty hard and we already need to process it for capsules, we grind 75% of our stock when we get it.
