Distinctly aromatic and powerfully cleansing, Boldo Leaf is a classic South American herb celebrated for its ability to support digestion, cleanse the liver, and stimulate bile flow. With a sharp, camphorous fragrance and a slightly bitter, citrusy taste, Boldo brings both strength and balance to the body’s internal systems.
Often enjoyed after meals or during detox regimens, this herb tones the stomach, eases bloating, and assists the liver in processing fats and toxins. In Chilean and Caribbean herbal traditions, it’s regarded as a natural ally for cleansing, grounding, and gentle digestive renewal.
As a digestive and liver tonic:
Directions (Internal Use):
Steep 1 teaspoon of dried leaves in 8 oz of hot water for 10 minutes.
Strain and drink once or twice daily, preferably after meals or during detox cycles.
Boldo pairs beautifully with Dandelion Root, Peppermint, or Ginger for enhanced liver and digestive benefits.
Our Boldo Leaves are wild-harvested from mature evergreen trees growing on the Chilean hillsides.
They are shade-dried and hand-cut to preserve their volatile oils — including boldine, the compound responsible for boldo’s strong aroma and liver-stimulating effects.
Pungent, cleansing, and wise, Boldo Leaf is the herbalist’s bitter friend — the one that brings clarity when the system feels sluggish or heavy. It reminds the body how to release, restore, and renew.
Whether taken as a post-meal tea or part of a full detox blend, Boldo brings lightness back to the body and sharpness back to the mind.
